Ferrari 458 Italia

THE SPEC

Ferrari 458 Italia

This mid-engined Italian sports car is in our opinion as good as it gets. Is there a better way for a groom to arrive?

The 458 derives its name from the 4.5 litre 8-cylinder engine that powers it. This bedroom wall poster car has 560 horsepower and a V8 soundtrack to rival an F1 car.

Finished in the obligatory Rosso Corsa Red the 458 Italia is a true experience to travel in and makes a great backdrop for some memorable photographs.

A brief history

Ferrari was founded in 1939 by Enzo Ferrari. Developed out of Alfa Romeos racing division the company built its first car in 1940. Enzo Ferrari was himself a successful race car driver. Born in 1898 in Modena Italy he devoted his life to building powerful sports cars and his championship winning race team.

Initially the road cars were only manufactured to finance the Ferrari racing division but over the years the road cars have taken on their own amazing identity and now overshadow the racing division.

One of the many things that makes Ferrari road cars so special is their use of racing technology developed on track. The 458 Italia is one such car, replacing the F430 it was first unveiled in 2009.

With a mid-engine naturally aspirated V8, seven speed sequential transmission and comprehensive electronics package the 458 is a true race inspired Ferrari.
